Volunteer Oppurtunities
Foreign Volunteers
Pioneers is always looking for skilled, committed native English speakers who can help with the English program. Volunteers should be aware that, from a Western perspective, Nablus is not an ideal environment and that, if they do come, a certain level of discomfort should be expected. Despite that, our current westerners would tell you, it would be hard to find a more rewarding experience. If you are interested in volunteering please send a cover letter and resume to lana@pioneers.edu.ps
Family and Community
Pioneers School is always looking for volunteers with skills that can help our teachers. Parents are especially encouraged to spend time contributing to the school. Providing assistance in the classroom, helping organize the library, and accompanying the students on field trips are only some of the ways you can help.
Parents should be aware that it is unlikely they will be placed in their child's classroom. This does occasionally happen but we generally think its more effective for parents to volunteer in different classes.
To volunteer please contact our Parent Association's Builder's Committee. Contact information, and a thorough explanation of our Parent Association. |
